Ingredients
  • 1 pack mini sambousek pastry sheets or regular sheets cut into smaller squares
  • 200 g Baladna Cream Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying or brushing for baking
How it's made!
    Prepare the filling
    • In a bowl, mix Baladna Cream Cheese with chopped parsley and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
    Shape the bites
    • Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square.
    • Fold into small triangles and seal the edges firmly.
    • Repeat with the remaining pastry and filling.
    Cook
    • Fry in hot oil until golden and crisp, or brush lightly with oil and bake at 180°C until golden.
    Serve
    • Serve warm as a bite sized Side Iftar snack.
    Tips
    • Seal the edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking.
    • Baladna Cream Cheese creates a smooth and creamy center inside the crispy pastry.
    • Add a pinch of chili flakes for a mild kick if desired
