Moutaz Al-Khayat: Qatar Agricultural is an opportunity to exchange experiences

Businessman Moutaz Al-Khayyat, Chairman of Baladna Food Industries, expressed his happiness for the participation of Baladna at the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition 2018 at a time when the company is progressing rapidly on the road to achieving self-sufficiency of milk and its derivatives to the state, stressing that his company was able through its participation in the exchange Experiences and highlight its role as a leader in the production of milk and dairy products. The company’s executives confirm that it is expected to meet the entire market needs of fresh milk by Ramadan 2018 and cover more than 70% of the demand for all its derivatives by the end of this year.
Baladna, one of the largest milk production farms in the country, was one of the official sponsors of the sixth Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Municipalities. It also co-sponsored a conference on food security held in its activities in cooperation with the International Exhibitions Company at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 20 to 22 March 2018, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir.
For the sixth consecutive year, the exhibition has proved to be the pioneer in providing support to the local and global agriculture sector. The exhibition, which opened over three days, is a knowledge-sharing center highlighting the latest developments and best practices in this dynamic and growing sector.
