Baladna’s pledge was made during an official announcement at a private ceremony that took place at Baladna headquarters in Al Khor, in the presence of Khaled Ahmed Al-Sindi, Head of Projects Department, Ministry of Municipality, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Mohannadi, Head of the Parks Department, Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality, Khaled Al Nuaimi – Director of Al Khor Park, and Mr. Piet Hilarides, Baladna Chief Executive Officer.

The company’s commitment to plant 5,000 trees comes in further support of the nationwide campaign launched by The Ministry of Municipality to plant 1 million trees, with the aim to preserve the environment, being one of the key pillars for the Qatar national vision 2030 and reinforce green growth across the nation.
