Dr. Adnan is an Independent Board Member of Power International Holding, Assets Real Estate Development Co. and Baladna co. – Qatar. In addition, he is an Independent Board Member of Arab Jordan Investment Bank and Palestine Investment Bank as well.
He is also an Executive Director and Secretary to the Board of Directors at Salam International Investment Limited and Advisor & Secretary to the Board of Directors of Salam Bounian Development. Dr. Steitieh has held several managerial and leadership positions in different companies and countries.
In addition, Dr. Adnan is an International Arbitrator accredited by Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, an Assistant Professor at the College of Management & Economics - Qatar University and a member of Award Committee of Social Responsibility.
Dr. Steitieh holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Management and Economics from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management – Germany and a bachelor’s degree in Law & Political Sciences from Arab University of Beirut – Lebanon in addition to various Diplomas and other advanced qualifications in International Relations, Sustainable Development, Reserve Management, and Public Policy. Dr. Steitieh has cumulative operational experience of ca. 40 years.
Chief Executive Officer
CEO of Baladna Food Industries, the largest dairy and juice beverage producer in Qatar. Prior to joining Baladna, Dr. Kamel Abdallah served as Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of Aujan Industries/Rani Investment (now Aujan-Coca Cola), the largest private beverage player in the Middle East (Rani, Vimto, Barbican); which includes 3 beverage factories and 2 can making factories. He was also the CEO of Exeed Industries, an Abu Dhabi family office Industrial/Agriculture group, with farms and feed mills among its 17 companies. He was also the Managing Director of AATCO Food Industries in Oman, the largest GCC manufacturer of wet condiments food in the region.
Dr. Kamel remains integrated with his academia, where he has been an Assistant Vice President of American University of Beirut, and Professor of Strategy and Finance, as well as holding tenure and leading academic departments in the USA.
Dr. Kamel holds a Ph.D in Strategic Management from the Ohio State University; Master’s Degree in International Trade and Finance from the American University in Washington D.C. and Ohio State University; and a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut. He has been awarded the Honorary title of Colonel by the Governor of Indiana, as well as numerous awards in the US and the region. He is considered a Subject-Matter expert on regional food security programs and is a frequent speaker at investment and agriculture conferences in the GCC.
With his proven leadership and expertise, Dr. Kamel will lead the strategic growth of Baladna and drive Baladna’s growth to the next level; achieving to be an innovative brand, penetrate the market objectives and support the transformation of the national food security program in the region.
Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Tynan joined Baladna as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2018. He is an Irish national with M.Sc. in Management from The University of York, U.K. and a Graduate degree in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K.
Over the past 23 years, Aidan has worked with some of the leading regional FMCG brands such as Almarai, Al Safi Danone and Al Othman Group. He spent more than 10 years at Almarai and nearly 4 years in Safi Danone as the Head of Sales and Chief Operating Officer respectively.
His expertise lies in FMCG business turnaround, brand building and improving company profitability, in fresh and long-life food products throughout the Middle East. His tenure at Al Safi resulted in 20% overall fresh volume growth with 22 Million Euros in additional sales, making it the brand’s best performance in 15 years.
Aidan is always on the lookout to upgrade his skills and knowledge and has successfully completed a variety of training programs in insurance, marketing, business studies, and management.

Mr. Maurice A. Ghattas brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience at Multinationals and Local Family Offices. With 31 years of experience in the USA and the Gulf Region, Mr. Ghattas possesses extensive knowledge in Structuring and Managing Diverse and Complex Groups, Mergers and Acquisitions, Right Sizing companies in lean times, Lean Thinking / Six Sigma Methodologies, Strategic Sourcing and Outsourcing, Operational Management, Total Cost Management, Customer Development and Inventory Management….
Mr. Ghattas has held the Group Chief Executive Officer position at diverse International Companies including Aban Investments – Ghobash Group, Yusuf Bin Ahmad Kanoo Group of Companies and National Holding. He joined WR Grace in Maryland as Chief Procurement Officer where he created departments to focus on the $1.2 Billion plus global spend, and later became the Managing Director for WR Grace Dubai and Germany.
Mr. Ghattas has an MBA in Operations and Production Management and a B.S. Civil Engineering both obtained at Syracuse University, Martin J. Whitman School of Management and School of Engineering.

Mr. Eyad is a well-proven leader within the Finance community in the Middle East and the GCC in particular. With over 23 years of experience in leading Finance Departments in the region, he has led Major Publicly Listed Companies and Family Business Finance Departments and have also assumed Board and Top Management positions within.
Mr. Eyad has major experience within the Construction, Contracting, and Real Estate Business in addition to his experience within Hospitality, Malls, and Banking Industry where has been in charge of building solid financial departments, Leading IPO, Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring and Turnaround, strategic planning, complex funding and treasury operations, cost management and lean operations engineering, creation of efficient and effective policies and procedures, and corporate governance.
Mr. Eyad has held many positions as Head of Corporate / Banking, Group CFO, Acting CEO, Head of the Internal audit committee in addition to being a Board Member within various leading companies within the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.
Prior to Joining Power International Holding, Mr. Eyad has worked with some of the major institutions within the Middle East and GCC including Al Futtaim Group Real Estate, Dubai Properties Group, Arabtec Holding, DEPA LTD, Standard Chartered Bank, and Arab Bank.
Mr. Eyad Holds an MBA from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and is an Accounting and Finance Graduate from Yarmouk University in Jordan. He has many professional degrees including Master Financial Professional, Chartered Portfolio Manager from The American Academy of Financial Management and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). He has also attended extensive C-Level training with Top Tier Universities and training institutes such as London Business School in the UK.

Mr. El Zeftawy has more than 23 years of extensive regional and global HR experience in Multinationals, Semi Government and Family owned business environment.
He started his career in Egypt and in Milan, Italy with the Italian oil and gas giant, ENI. Then he joined the American project management company, Bechtel International in Egypt & UK. His Gulf experience started with Borouge (Abu Dhabi Polymers Company) and then joined the Abu Dhabi conglomerate "Al Jaber Group" before joining Power International Holding.

Twenty-three years of extensive and successful experience as an executive director, initiating growth policies as a Senior Executive.
A seasoned professional, with an outstanding planning, execution, monitoring, and resource balancing skills; with the ability to support multiple projects in a matrix of organizational structure.

Group Legal Director
Mr. Ala’a Tamneh leads the corporate legal strategy department of Power International Holding. He brings over brings over 24 years of legal practice and knowledge in common and civil jurisdictions. He holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Monash University, Melbourne – Australia. He is also a member of the Jordanian Bar Association since 1995.
Mr. Ala’a has a wide practical knowledge predominantly in Corporate, Commercial, Construction and Property Laws in conjunction with FIDIC forms of contracts, Qatari and GCC Legislations, Public Sector Statutes, Intellectual Property and Corporate Governance Rules and Regulations.
Mr. Ala’a was engaged in submittals pertaining to Civil, MEP, Steel Structure, Excavation and Aluminum works’ activities for main and subcontracts within the public sector. He handled a wide range of projects, including the following:
Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Public Works / Ashghal, New Doha International Airport, Msheireb Downtown Project, Qatar National Library, Central Library for Qatar Foundation Education City, Doha Oasis Project, World Trade Center Project, Woqood Tower West-bay, North Gate Mall and Office Building.
Mr. Ala’a is an experienced English and Arabic bilingual lawyer, providing complex legal advice and services gained in occupying both private law firms’ practice and in-house roles in Jordan, Dubai and Qatar. He is further an experienced litigant with excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills advising high ranked domestic and international portfolios and senior level management. He led highly qualified lawyers in addition to value added interaction with local and cross border external legal counsels and firms.
Chief Procurement & Supply Chain Officer
Gustavo Rico is a senior Procurement and Supply Chain professional with extensive international experience in America, Europe and Middle East. He has worked with world-class, multinational companies as Kuwait Food Company (Americana), Unilever, Loreal and Procter & Gamble.
Gustavo is passionate at mentoring and motivating culturally diverse people across multiple locations and regions. He possesses a transformational and pioneering spirit leading processes, programs and systems to create the highest value for the business. He has been a key driver of long term partnerships and strategic alliances promoting proactive innovation, business growth and geographical expansion in developing and emerging markets.
Gustavo possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration; additionally, he has diverse qualifications in Lean Manufacturing, Advance Negotiations, Change Management, Business Development, Total Productive Maintenance, S&OP process, etc.
Gustavo is a strong believer of technology as an enabler of business development, simplification, harmonization and transparency.
Personally speaking, Gustavo is married and has two wonderful kids. He spends his personal time between his family and practicing endurance sports having completed more than 16 marathons and ultra-marathons in America, Europe and Middle East.

Mr. Ziad Aljazaerly, a Civil Engineer since 1976. He held several positions and responsibilities in Syria, KSA & Qatar with total 41 years of field experience in different projects in university & water pipelines and electrical overhead lines and transportation along with engineering consulting office.
He currently holds the position of Chief Internal Auditor since he joined Power International Holding.
Risk and Insurance Director
Vastly knowledgeable of insurance rules and regulations and classes of insurance. Highly organized and efficient. Extremely capable manager and leader. Proficient in all phases of organizing and coordinating projects, meeting deadlines and budgets. Influenced the local insurance market by introducing several new insurance products which the market then followed.
Effectively managed, negotiated and settled several high profile insurance claims with local and international insurance carriers on behalf of Clients.
Group Creative Director
With over 9 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and creative design, as well as a solid background in the production and editing of recognized television productions in the Middle East, Mr. Idilbi has helped shape the development of the company through his extensive technical expertise and creative vision.
Supported by a large team of multi-talented designers, programmers, and production staff, Mr. Idilbi has pioneered the creative aesthetic of over 40 corporate brands and various hospitality and food and beverage outlets.

Saifullah Khan, Group Finance Director joined the Group in September 2014. He holds the degree in MBA finance and Certified Public Accountant.
Having the exceptional experience of more than 16 Years in the field of accounts, finance, audit and budgetary analysis of leading corporate entities.
More than 12 years of Finance and audit experience in multinational and local holding companies. He held several positions and responsibilities in Egypt and Qatar.
Mr. Sameh is a result driven, self-motivated and resourceful Finance Manager and he has joined PIH.

Jasim is a Senior IT Management professional with close to 15 years of experience across the Middle East, North Africa, India, & Turkey. His experience goes across IT Consulting, Retail, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Technology Services industries.
He is an evolving IT Digital Transformation leader with experience across the spectrum of Digital touchpoints and proven business outcomes. Played leadership roles in developing IT Strategy, driving Digital Transformation of Businesses, ERP Transformations, and IT Infrastructure Operations related initiatives.
His key strength is in simplifying business processes, executing large IT projects, managing diverse teams and understanding the importance of delivering customer value. Has hands-on experiences in ERP implementations, mobile apps, IOT, Artificial Intelligence projects, Cloud deployments, and Analytics.
