Ingredients

Calzones
  • 1/2 cup semolina flour
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 450g pizza dough
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Baladna cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Baladna Labneh
  • 1/2 cup grated Baladna mozzarella
  • 4 scallions
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 24 thin slices pepperoni
  • 2 cups roasted garlic tomato sauce


How it's made!

1. Preheat your oven to 190°C.

2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

3. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the dough.

4. Spread the Baladna cheddar cheese, Baladna Labneh, and grated Baladna mozzarella evenly over the dough.

5. Sprinkle the chopped scallions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the cheese.

6. Place the pepperoni slices over the cheese and toppings.

7. Starting at the long edge, roll up the dough tightly to form a log.

8. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.

9. Place the pizza rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

10. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. 

11. While the pizza rolls are baking, warm the roasted garlic tomato sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.

12.Serve the hot pizza rolls and Enjoy
